Where are classes held?

Wherever you are. Or at least, close. We want these classes to be near you, so make sure when you sign up you note the location.

What are class prices?

They vary. Depends on how much materials, teachers and places cost. They are as affordable as possible though!

I’m interested in teaching a class.  What do I do?

Email us! We would love to have you teach because we think you’re great. And if you want to teach but don’t know exactly how to communicate your ideas, we can help. We’re good at that.

Are instructors paid?

You have two options! You can either volunteer for a class, in exchange for two free future classes, or you can be paid to teach $5 per head.  Payment varies depending on class size and time constraints.

What happens if I can’t make it to a class?

First of all, we hope everything is okay! Second of all, cancellations are only accepted a week in advance. As we’re a traveling circus of sorts, we have to make sure your cancellation won’t cancel the class. Please email us if you need to cancel or reschedule your class.

What is your cancellation and weather policy?

The Chattery may cancel a class for extreme weather conditions (i.e. if there is a warning to not be on the roads), in the case of an emergency, if there not enough seats purchased to cover running the class (we have a 4 seat minimum for most classes unless otherwise noted), or in the event that a teacher is unable to make the class. We will try to reschedule the class where possible. If you cannot make the rescheduled date or we are unable to schedule one, we will refund you the price of your seat.

I see a class that I’m interested in, how do I purchase class admission?

Pick the number of tickets and click ORDER NOW on the page of the class you want to attend. This will take you to a sign up page to complete your transaction.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, credit/debit or check. We prefer credit/debit so we know you’re definitely coming, but we love last minute additions too. And checks should be made out to The Chattery. If you want to reserve your space in advance but don't want to use a credit or debit card, you can mail us your check. Email us for the address!
