Sound and Structure: Introduction to Phonology for Poets and Songwriters

  • Chattanooga WorkSpace 302 W 6th Street Chattanooga, TN (map)

*This class is being rescheduled. Check back for the new date!*

In this class, we will cover the basics of phonology--the study of sound structure--and will explore some tools for you to observe and think proactively about your own personal sound. Participants are encouraged to bring a few lines of their own or another influential writer's work to observe its structure. We will also be writing new material in the workshop.
