Origami 101

  • Chattanooga WorkSpace 302 West 6th Street Chattanooga, TN, 37402 United States (map)

The ancient art form called Origami brings many direct benefits such as building hand-eye coordination, strengthening hands, and improving anxiety. In this class you will begin to build you paper folding skills with a few fundamental designs such as an iconic origami crane and a little, but powerful, jumping frog.

Each participant will take home their own paper creations. Origami paper is included in the cost!

About the teacher:

Clay Alexander is a practicing Chemical Engineer who has found that Origami helped him from a young age develop patience, grow confidence, learn to sequence, and build spatial orientation. He used these skills as a foundation in his Engineering education, computer programming, and artwork.
