Taught by the food love gurus at Dish T'Pass Cooking School & Catering Company, this class will show you how to make yummy cookies, perfect for anyone on your Christmas list. Together we'll prepare a delicious lemon, vodka, orange liqueur and sugar cookie, a yummy coconut macaroon, and more! Inspired by a Lemon Drop Martini, the sugar cookie is the perfect combination of soft and crunchy, sour and sweet. And your taste buds will melt when the crunches of coconut and pistachios come together with a hint of white chocolate in the not-too-sweet coconut macaroons.
This class is BYOB for added fun.
About the teachers:
Amanda Varnell is co-owner, managing partner & primary cooking instructor at DishT’Pass and is known by many as a “Dinner Table Specialist.” Founding CookingLIVE in 2006, she has been teaching cooking classes in the Greater Chattanooga area and speaking on the topic of the dinner table professionally for over 6 years. As a wife for over 20 years and mom to Jack, Luke, Sophia and Sam for 20, 17, 14 and 11 years respectively, she has also logged thousands of hours in her own kitchen.
Sarah Hooper is co-owner, catering director, and occasional instructor at DishT’Pass. She is a native Chattanoogan now living with her family in Ringgold, GA. She has been married to her college sweetheart, Jason, since 1995, has two rambunctious boys, Jackson and John and a slobbering basset hound, Sandy.
