Amanda Jelks has been practicing law in Tennessee for the past 7 years. Her practice focuses on helping families and business owners sleep better at night by knowing that their affairs are in order and they are legally protected. After spending the first five years of her career with one of the areas largest law firms, Amanda put it all on the line and started Jelks Law. In addition to operating Jelks Law, Amanda serves as the CEO of Women's Law Collective which is a collaboration between 4 female-owned law firms to provide services and support to women and men who support women.
Kate West started The C Corps to provide outsourced C-level expertise to small organizations that need that level of expertise to grow but cannot afford a full-time CFO, COO, CMO, CIO. Kate currently serves as a part-time CFO for Turf Tamer, Inc., part-time CFO for Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise, Inc., and part-time CFO for TTI Environmental. The eight additional clients she serves as needs arise for compliance reporting, staff development, process improvements, strategic planning, budgeting & forecasting, etc. Kate is the founder of two non-profit organizations: Caring to Educate, an organization dedicated to the support of single mothers in the achievement of their educational goals, and Young Professionals Association of Chattanooga (YPAC), an organization committed to creating an environment for connecting with others, creating enthusiasm for Chattanooga, encouraging future leadership, inspiring entrepreneurship, and supporting the community by sponsoring local charities.
Jennifer Harper, CFP
Jennifer Harper is the Founder and Director of Bridge Financial Planning, LLC. She began her career in financial services in 2000. Ms. Harper is a 2001 graduate of the MBA program at UTC and in 2006 earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ® designation. She was an adjunct instructor for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga College of Business, teaching Small Business Finance from 2014 through the spring of 2017. Additionally, Ms. Harper is the Founding Director of Common Cents Financial Literacy, Inc., a nonprofit organization founded in 2005. The mission of Common Cents is to promote and encourage financial education.
Shawanda Mason-Moore is a creative entrepreneur and freelance writer. In 2010, she created the food inspired lifestyle blog, Eat.Drink.Frolic. and in 2015, started The Brunch Collective, a brunch series for women entrepreneurs. For over eight years, she has worked in the event management and digital marketing industries where she develops unique communications and social media strategies. She is also the co-founder of The Chattery!
Rebecca Feldbin is a Chattanooga based public relations specialist with more than 9 years of experience in public relations, media and social media marketing. She has worked closely with big names in film and television, non-profit organizations as well as independent businesses, creatives and entrepreneurs. Working with press on a local level, as well as nationally, she strives to serve each of her clients by creating campaigns that put their best faces forward and attract great professional success.
Gabrielle Blades is a graduate of the graphic design program at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and now owns a branding and print design business, Blades Creative. Prior to Blades Creative, Gabrielle worked with the City of Chattanooga on the Multimodal Transportation Center Study, began contracting with LAUNCH Chattanooga, and eventually became a full time freelance designer. Beginning with pen and paper, connecting with her clients, and getting it right are just a few things that bring her joy. She also loves being involved with Chattanooga Women's Leadership Institute and serving as Director of Events and Programming for AIGA Chattanooga. When she’s not creating things Gabrielle is a wannabe ballerina, cat lover, and professional vacationer.
Designer and artist, Taylor Kinser, is a native of the Scenic City. Taylor graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she earned a BFA in Graphic Design. She has worked in advertising, freelance and currently resides in the in-house corporate world of design. Taylor has been volunteering with AIGA Chattanooga since 2013 as Events Coordinator intern, and served on the board for the past three years in the roles of Vice President, Secretary and now President. Her previous service and roles with AIGA has given her valuable experience that will serve her in the years to come. When she's not at working or volunteering her time on the board, she can be found painting, hosting friends, or spending time in nature.
Stephanie Teisl is the Community Ambassador for Yelp Chattanooga. A Southern California native, Stephanie moved to Chattanooga six years ago and started working with Yelp just about two years ago to help build the local Community and create great relationships between local businesses and Yelpers. After working in many different segments of business, including marketing, advertising, event planning, and teaching; she brings many different experiences and ideas to Yelp Chattanooga. A self professed foodie, Stephanie loves many different type of cuisines and loves to try new places.
