Teacher Spotlight: Bryce Hooper

Our growing class list would be quite difficult to pull off without the awesome instructors we've been so honored to meet.  We'd like to give you the same opportunity to get to know our Chattery teachers a bit better.

So, here are four questions to help get to know our Pallet Making instructor, Bryce Hooper!

How did you get started in your profession?

I've seen a lot of awesome upcycled pieces and it drove me to bring two pallets home from work one day. I started off with a wine/liquor rack and now it's turned into a slight upcycling obsession.

Why do you love Chattanooga?

The people, outdoor activities, and all around great atmosphere. It's the hidden gem of the South, not too small, but not too big.

What's one topic you'd like to learn through The Chattery?

I would love to learn how to do screen printing on clothing/posters.

What's something someone would be surprised to learn about you?

I have guided on the Ocoee River for 7 years. On my 25th birthday I guided the Louisiana School for the Blind down the Ocoee River for their annual decent down the Ocoee.
