Guitar 101

Do you have a guitar but haven’t quite mastered it yet? This series will show you all the basics of the guitar.  We’ll cover parts of the guitar, changing strings, playing the five basic chords, strumming, picking and more!

This is a series class which will take place on August 23 and September 13 only. The class originally scheduled for August 9 will be covered on August 23. Each class in this series is sold individually, and you are not required to come to both. 

About the teacher:

Dayv H is the founder and instructor at Dayv H Music Studio. He has a passion for music and enjoys helping others learn about music. His involvement in music and music performance spans over 20 yrs both professionally and otherwise. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Worship and Music Ministry from Liberty University. While studying there, he was professionally trained in both Guitar and Vocal performance. He has several years of musical instruction experience including both private and group lessons. He is dedicated to bettering his community and world by training others to express themselves through music. His goal is to promote the musical arts in order to train the next generation of musicians, vocalists, concert instrumentalists, and worship leaders.

This class will cover getting started with playing the guitar.  

In this class, you will learn how to change your strings, tune your guitar, and the five chords you need to know to play almost anything.

This class will teach you how to strum, pick and do other techniques to make the chords come to life.
